Robert and Helen Haddad began the giving tradition in Columbus, Indiana, in 2002. The family’s generous donations have expanded through the years, with Haddad resources supporting scores of local and national organizations.
The Haddad Foundation was established to support the following areas of interest:
- Children – To support programs that improve the quality of life of less advantaged youth.
- Music and Arts Programs – To support local music and art education, performances, and public exposure to the arts.
- Public and Private Education – To provide funding for local programs that enrich the education and experiences of children of all ages.
- Breast Cancer Research – To provide funding for breast cancer research through sponsorship of community events.
- Disaster Relief – To provide funding for assistance in emergency situations. The Haddad Foundation is a Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization.
